Ingredients

egg white
1/2 tsp
white vinegar
1/3 cup
caster sugar
1 tsp
icing sugar
2 tbsp
icing sugar (extra)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 140 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Combine egg white, vinegar and caster sugar in a small bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed for about 10 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Fold in sifted icing sugar.
  4. Lightly grease oven trays and dust lightly with cornflour - shake off excess cornflour.
  5. Pipe a 2cm circular meringue and space evenly on an oven tray.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until crisp and dry. Cool on trays.
