- egg white
- 1/2 tsp
- white vinegar
- 1/3 cup
- caster sugar
- 1 tsp
- icing sugar
- 2 tbsp
- icing sugar (extra)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 140 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Combine egg white, vinegar and caster sugar in a small bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed for about 10 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
- Fold in sifted icing sugar.
- Lightly grease oven trays and dust lightly with cornflour - shake off excess cornflour.
- Pipe a 2cm circular meringue and space evenly on an oven tray.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until crisp and dry. Cool on trays.
